Too Weak The Heart To Lose

“Too Weak the Heart To Lose”

When I do hear that tick on my wrist,
And see the doomed moon taking down stars;
When I encounter cool mist that twists
And fallen leaves that show fragile scars

When hollow trees I see void of life,
Which once had laughed in a delight
And winter’s light all dimmed by love’s strife
Now come and see my chronos contrite!

Then what of the heart can I now make?
For the journey, soon will surely take
Since softness does eventually break
And enters as fast as it forsakes

No nothing against the tick will show
Save love for you, don’t take the blow
