Just your average girl
Stressed, depressed, not even well-dressed
With a family of none
As it was torn
Ripped apart at the seams
With no warning of tear
Taken out of the house
Which is no longer a home
And custody battles
And judges debating
Who wins the prize
Because they both want
"What's best" for them
But fail to put her
Mental health into perspective
As she was already feeling down
But now finds it a task to get out of bed
And as her father moves on and gets a
New girlfriend, her mother
Finds it a bit harder to breathe
But the girl doesn't do anything
Because she can't take any more of it
The cinder blocks on her just
Keep piling
And her mind
Her heart
And her soul
Are torn
