Touching The Ends of A Rainbow
There's a storm on the horizon.
Surely it will be bad, I watch and wait with wonder how very sad.
It blew in like a fury and made its presence known.
The rain beat down, and went sideways and ran like a stream down the road.
The lightning strikes so fierce they gave me a charge.
The thunder so loud, it rumbled the ground and showed me the power that it had.
I watched and wondered if there would be an end.
As I looked off in a distance I could see it was near.
Soon the storm would finally disappear.
To my surprise when it moved through, it had left me a message through and through.
There stood a full rainbow to let me know...
His promise is real and troubles will go.
I ran out to touch both ends, for it was seemed so unreal.
The promise was real, the storm has moved on...it's so surreal.
