Towel Snatcher

I once had a dog
he'd never said hey
as lazy as a log
sleeping all day.

I never expected
one day he'd be a savior
An accident I'd affected
with stupid behavior.

I sat on my bathroom thrown
quite suddenly I called to my wife
The toilet had blown
It was the dog who'd save my life.

Quick to his feet
with a towel in tow
He rescued me
it was a comic show.

Now this dog of mine
I love so dearly
He's oh so fine
always keeping towels near me.
