Town Covered in Pretty White Lies

Some people have mastered the art of deceit so well
Some lie to run from their lives
They fantasize or try to materialize
A pretty town covered in little white lies

White lies sprinkled just right
Like the snowflakes
That multiply from the sky Falling upon everything that isn’t worth believing
But my heart is steady bleeding
Beating so fast but I forgot the reason

Red drops paint the white lies
And pain begins to grow in time
until the white lies implode
They were unable to carry such a heavy load

You see some have mastered the art of deceit
While others had to learn to become discrete
As they manipulate everybody that they seek

Curiosity knocks
They never flee
They agree
