Toxic


Your touch was cruel
You stained me black
Before your mouth ever did

Your words were toxic
They planted seeds
In my mind
And you made sure
To water them
Everyday

Your eyes were destructive
For with them
You broke me down
And made me feel
Physically and Mentally
Transparent

Your smell was polluted
It lingered on everything
I Did and Didn’t own
It burned itself
Not only into my home
But into my soul...
