Kill me with your frozen kindness.
Drown me with your words,
Like liquor,
Making me dense
Enough to sink.

Fish me out
With a net of your praises.
Hang my limp body on the line
With all the finest linens.

The wind is my breath.
Let me drift away!
And pretend I was a bird
That never belonged
In your nest.
