I can see what the papers will say
She died too young, it is a tragedy
A lovely girl with a big smile
She had a laugh that goes on for miles
She loved what she did we all know that
She never complained and never seemed all that sad
Her love for God shined over every room
Her faith stayed strong all the way through
She was a daddy's girl, she had her mama's smile
And her brother, good Lord bless that child
She died too young that's all I can say
It is a tragedy

But what they don't know is she hated her life
And her smile was full of hatred and spite
Her laugh was not real and only masked the tears
You see one's life is not always what it appears
She did not enjoy what she did as to what people think
It overcame her, devoured her, with just a blink
Her faith had faded a long time ago
But no one even noticed as if it wasn't so
She despised her father, and her mama too
They never understood the things she used to do
Yes she died too young and it is a tragedy,
But the reasons are quite clear that's all I have to say
