Trails

Rocky, narrow, stone-filled
Paths.

Cedars, oaks, majestic cypress-
Blowing ancient whispers through the air.

Winding, turning,
Elevating up,
Cascading down-
forcing my direction.
I follow trustfully.

Who made these tantalizing trails?
Where do they end?

Our destinations will be the same.
We are of one mind.
