Trans.. A Leap Forward

I'm not asking for a flag, for any country
not even a color to represent me,
I'm just asking for sanity, for humanity.
I'm not asking to treat me special
not to give me different rights,
I'm just asking to treat me human, guaranteed equality.

Why you run away, when I'm standing next to you?
I'm just like other strangers
you can try to be friends to.
I'm no different, have flesh and bones just like you
my mind and heart feels different
but, just according to you.

I'm perfectly fine and I think you're too
but, what about that fine line,
perpetually darkened in your mind?
I think you're strong enough, to erase it!
spelled curse in your head, you can break it!

Your head has a toxic perception,
please don't pass your "legacy" to next generation.
