What once was lost but now is found
Is the thing that keeps me bound.
I thought it was an open door
But now new chances come no more.
This stupid trap I walked into
Makes me want to start anew.
Stumbling into what I thought I expected
Now leaves me sorely affected
By the consequences of my mistakes.
I wish I just slammed the brakes
When I saw the signs
Of what led to these confines.
I´ve learned I need to wait
But it might just be too late
To fix what I've become,
And take back what I have done.
Too late my vision clears
Even though foggy through tears.
In short it was fun
But hurts in the long run.
All these mistakes I start to analyze
And makes me start to realize;
I once was blind but now I see
The only one to blame is me.
