You know when you experience something
So wonderful
So inimitable
So seemingly perfect
That it fills your heart right to the brim
And in the moment you think to yourself:
There's nothing that could possibly
Compare to this elation.'
But when the curtains fall
On that blissful chapter
The preceding lows of your life are nothing
Compared to the infinite despondency
Of this trench
In which you currently reside
One day you will arrive at the fact
That the nature of that feeling you thought was unmatched
Can be not only rivaled
But perhaps even surpassed
