Trickery of Life

Covered up to hide the truth
Of a bleeding heart and sawed off tooth
Through love and sorrow hate and pain
No longer fun though maybe a game
To toy with death may be fun
Though in the end there is no son
So in the end
I must choose but one
One who is loving and kind
The other who is all but mine
Such discretion, trickery, motivation, and drive
Between those who love and those who kind
Though one may share love and concern
The other trickery and weaving of words
To become one with the kingdom of God
I have realized now like a fish on a rod
One must feel pain before rewarded
Such as pain in life where all is thwarted
