Troubles

Waking up to the sun peering at you through the blinds
Forgetting for a second the troubles you left behind
Melodious voices of birds sing behind your window
wishing you could put your head back on your pillow
But you have to stagger through the day once again
Avoiding treading on toes and keeping to your lane
After all this, you sit and relax
Regaining strength lost in the day's task
Watching the beautiful sun setting in the horizon
Hoping that all your worries vanish with the setting sun
