True Love

A smile so new like a warm morning’s dew
Hair so fair like flowers blooming in June
When she cries I see rain on my window of life
She is the sun in my day and the stars in the night
Her thoughts are so pure like a winters first Snow
A child in me is revealed when she is near
Letting go of adulthood for a moment it is clear
Life should be seen through her eyes
Her playful presence is a lighthearted day
Like a bird in blue skies gliding away
What a sweet addiction this child of mine
I just can't let her go
She is the center of my very soul
Waking up with her by my side calling out my name
Is simply something I cannot explain.
True love
