True Nature

I'm a liar.
I'm a cheater,
a phony,
a fake.
I'll take your heart
and break-it to pieces.
I'm not your perfect angel,
unless angels come from hell.
I'm the highlight of the party,
I'm the beautiful belle.
Ring, ring, ring the bell,
let the world know I've arrived.
I've been quiet for so long,
in the silence I thrived.
Silence is like darkness,
you learn, grow, adapt.
Then finally you emerge,
most of your energy zapped.
It's almost on empty,
my lying cheating soul,
that's because I'm destroying
the boy whose heart I stole.
