Truth

I lost sensation where the madness would swell.
Swirling softly with the petals of time.
In a wind very cold and I could tell
It would strengthen with every breath of mine.
I called for my voice and I summoned these thoughts
And with shaking hands I untangled the knots.
Between my fingers slipped the ribbons of truth
And I found things that I never wanted to find.
Trying to silence an unwavering mind.
