Truth

It's not subtlety.
That part is proven
A woman being driven by a man with evil intentions
"Truth is beauty", she says
The words she once told a young child
But there is nothing beautiful in the words spoken
Consequences lie within a liar's tongue
And ones who speak the truth,
there will be a subtlety in their demise
With words being put to action
The honest phrase is false.
For the ones who have truly felt pain
Know that it comes from speaking the truth
The monsters cannot be suppressed
They are with me, though I am reluctant
I am unwilling.
How can one be a survivor of tension?
The Commander repeats the phrase
A meek soul will obey this simple order
And pay the price for the one who speaks lies
Truth is beauty, truth is blind
Truth is a burden, I'm afraid
Truth is a lie.
