Try Again

The desperate planning wasted,
On the realities of the day.
Shouts of victory,
Drowned out by whispered failures.
Who is listening?
Who can remember?
A cold walk becomes a treat.
The wind,pushing,
Helps to remove some unpleasantries,
So achievements can come along on the stroll.
Why is there a staircase here?
What happened to the hallway?
Holding my own hand,
Reassured,
I go back,
And try again.
