Try The Last Knob

The screen remains obscure
After all the buttons, you have, a thousand times, pressed
To the images, there seems to be no cure
Do not mean to pry
But a remote, perhaps, could do the rest
It's always worth a try
The spoon, its job, has done effectively
The egg shell has refused to succumb to its hit
Awaiting its yolk, the empty plate lies patiently
Do not mean to pry
But an axe should do it better a bit
It's always worth a try
Seven has refused to double up to make sixteen
After all the methods, you have tried
Arithmetic is impossible, even pristine
Do not mean to pry
But eight, I'm certain, will do the ride
It's always worth a try
The piece of paper doesn't want to be divided
The pair of scissors was the best in the market
Solid as a rock, it remains unpierced
Do not mean to pry
But one tool you could wield, a machete
It's always worth a try
The curriculum vitae frappe at every knob
Against every railing, it has made a knock
It has been approved nowhere
Do not mean to pry
But the resources, your skills can unlock
It's always worth a try
What's the Lion the Deer is facing?
What is that ever-static block in your life?
Critical or trivial, is it aching?
For your sake, do you not know I pry?
You should never surrender, but strife
Because it's always worth a try
