Tucker’s Fear

Why do you sell me, as if nothing is what I am.
What makes me any different from you.
My daddy any different from a man.
We eat, we sleep, and have loyalty to keep.
But none of that is good enough?
Some of us are pampered, just like the rich.
Some of us have it rough.
When you took us home, we were scared at first.
but eventually we would adjust.
All we asked is for your love,
and to you we gave our trust.
But after a month, you became broke,
and needed the extra money.
You sell us off as if you don't care,
ain't that a little funny?
Now you wonder why we're mean,
and always wanna bite.
We never really have a home,
never for certain, always a might.
We gave everything we had to give,
and to you that was not much.
We are now alone, and quite afraid,
thanks for returning the favor and such.
So when we are all horrible and mean, do not ask yourselves why.
If you say you do not know,
My friend, thats most certainly a lie.
