Tuesday

When our eyes first met, lust floated above
I felt something wonderful, and it turned into love

Those feelings intensified, you offered me more
And suddenly I felt something I had not felt before

When we were together, I softened my gaze
My whole world became fuzzy, in a smooth gentle haze

I suddenly realized, what others had meant
When they said that your person, would be heaven sent

Then one day you told me you had something to say
I hadn't been the only woman you had slept with that day

In fact there were many, who talked with you freely
And some that you saw, when there were no plans to see me

My mind became foggy with confusion and fear
The life I had visualized, was suddenly unclear

Without any warning, tears fell from my eyes
My whole body shook, repulsed by your lies

My body sat numb, exposed and afraid
As you completely abandoned the life we had made
