Turning Bricks Into Butterflies

Verse 1:

Mother Earth is grounding my life.

Stripping away all my strife.

Tranquility awaits for me.

A new day opens up to be.

Chorus.

Turning bricks into butterflies.

As I listen, I realize,

I’m not what I was years ago.

Memories still put on a show.

Verse 2:

Is it guilt or my foolish pride?

Constantly they seem to collide.

I wonder where you are tonight.

Empty rooms left to feud and fight.

Chorus.

Turning bricks into butterflies.

As I listen, I realize,

I’m not what I was years ago.

Memories still put on a show.

Verse 3:

Roasted pumpkin seeds live to grow,

As I try walking the Red Road.

Remember what will be will be.

This journey writes it’s destiny.

Chorus.

Turning bricks into butterflies.

As I listen, I realize,

I’m not what I was years ago.

Memories still put on a show.

Verse 4:

In the end we will find our peace.

All our baggage we will release.

Turning bricks into butterflies……..

While burden flies toward the skies.

Chorus.

Turning bricks into butterflies.

As I listen, I realize,

I’m not what I was years ago.

Memories still put on a show.
