‘Twas a world

'Twas a breeze flowers could not dance in
One thy could not feel
But a breeze thou knew was lingering
I need not ask if it was real
'Twas a light that shone not diligently
But ever so mundane
A breeze that was more earthly
And never was in vain
'Twas a call from someone out there
Hence only the lord will know
A call that's to remain hidden
Destined never to be shown
'Twas a world that not a soul hindered
In a land we called out own
A world that was much too barren
Filled with spirits that would forever moan
