Twas the Day before Christmas…..

‘Twas the Day before christmas, with snow on the ground
As the snow fell the jingle bells made a loud sound .
On the warm fireplace The stockings were hung,
While outside wet snowballs were being flung.

We had cooked fresh baked cookies, and the elf was here
The family was joyful as Christmas was near.
Large and tiny, red and green presents were wrapped ,
As joyful carolers sang and bells were tapped .

The amazingly new wrapped presents were ready,
As Santa's nice list remained, peacefully steady.
We ate candy canes delighted together.
We sat and enjoyed the flurry white weather.

We built fluffy snowmen with carrots as a nose,
We continued to play this while our cold toes froze.
The tall and small trees were nice, white, and fluffy,
We drank cocoa because our noses were stuffy.

We drank hot cocoa by the fireplace together,
Sitting back in our warm nice Holiday sweaters.
We were as cold as a big snowy snowman,
So we sat down with cocoa ,that was a plan .

We wrapped a few more presents short ,big, tall, and small ,
We wrapped nice socks , toy cars, a sketch book , and a doll
Waiting for the tree to be loaded with fun,
Putting our hair in a nice old fashion bun.

The shiny Star on the tree was a bit to bright ,
Shining 6 ft up like a gold shiny twinkling light.
Presents were roughly stacked way up to the sky ,
I stood there as my friend remarked “ Woah thats high”.
