Twilight’s Morning Dance

Amongst the stars and amongst the pedals of the moon
Lay another star and another moon
With my lay I find the way
to another pedal in another place

The seasons change, with them, me
I no longer bleed my green
Deformation or beautiful dehydration not meant
for my dissection, finds me, never hiding, change color

Endless direction wandering in the woods
The fallen leaves leave a watermark on the spirit's soul
As I lay with the moon, I absorb the stars
Then give life to these pedals of mine
As I lay with the moon, I resist the stars
Then give life to these fallen pedals of mine

Another morning, another dance
I used to always want to dance
