Twinkle Twinkle

As the darkness recedes
your sunny disposition
I am in dire need of,
to awaken mine.

A star that shines so bright
that you light up the Heavens!
Do you coerce my soul
to disperse your amorous intentions?

He smiles, refuting it!
As from his mouth to God's ear,
a prayer is said daily in thine name
to keep you from pain, he concludes.

My day has thus begun wrapped
in the warmth of his prayer,
knowing that my mere existence
starts as a purpose
to his supplications daily.
