Twisted Forest
As the eyes peer from a short distance, I ponder if they even have a clue of their impending doom?
Still they stand, as if frozen in a different time. These are the souls of many that are released from purgatory in which God has granted an instantaneously, painless death.
If they would stay together in the twisted forest, all would be well, but the Angels tempt their curiosity by leading them to the wrong light... My light... My headlights to be exact.
With gazing eyes they watch as I plunge into them at 70 mph. May God have mercy on their souls, those reincarnated into deer.
