Two Hearts

A heart of glass; and a diamond soul
A heart of stone; with a soul of gold
Joined together by failing trust of those...
Those who are condemned for smothery of our thoughts and goals
Have brought together a brethren of damaged but blinding light
Stone teaches strength, glass teaches compassion

When glass breaks from world's collision
Stone can mend jagged edges as long as cold doesn't prey
Or glass shall be scraped by the diamond shield of it's pure essence

When stone gets thrown into ebony depths
Glass shall have stone call upon it's own golden light,
To create it's path to righteousness
Or stone will fall deep into nightmare's crevice

A heart of glass; a heart of stone
Brethren of light and dark,
Create the most powerful force of light
