Two Lovers…

And the canons were ready
Soldiers ready, waiting for order to strike
People bidding farewell to warriors, but no one knew,
As deep in the forest, at the boundary of kingdoms
Were standing two lovers.

One among them was princess, accomplice was prince
But they had to be enemies by order of their kings
Their kingdoms, ready on battle field-
To finish one other, it was about self esteem.
And no one cared, as at the boundary of kingdoms
Were standing two mourning lovers.

Today only silence spoke, as they parted ways
Only to meet again in middle of hatred and war
The kings marked and it was destruction's start,
A Venus cried at star-crossed love.
As the fate give it's last decision
It will be against two lovers.

The swords flied, and many died, hatred evilly smiled
The frightened sun hid beneath the clouds
But then... hatred lost, and everyone stopped.
To witness their love, the two were now together,
As death in one-other's embrace united two lovers.
