Two Worlds

There she stands in the bright glow of the sun
Her hair shines; A gold halo surrounds her
Times curse which she will forever outrun
Waiting for a miracle to occur.
Here I stand in the shadows of the night
My hair in knots, home to a ruined soul
Scars mark me, unsuitable for the light
I am alive, but stuck inside a hole.
One day, our two worlds are destined to meet.
In the end, the light and the night will crash
My love of her will explode in defeat
And her beauty will be gone in a flash.
The result of our love, I apprehend.
For if I do love her, our worlds would end.
