Uncertainties

By Lucinda

Uncertainties
I've been waiting
For your response
Taken Hostage
Held on too long
Hoping you would come
Around and acknowledge
Your feelings, walking on
Eggshells Waiting
for your decision
yes or no, maybe
mind wondering
wait, hold up
how long is it
going to take
for getting the messages
doesn't take a genius
to figure out, what I'm about.
A catch so sweet,
intelligence is needed
for the long haul.
try a little tenderness,
caring, and understanding
with a little bit of love
is all it takes.
can you stand the rain,
that will fall and cause
storms to overcome.
forever is such a long
time, but I'm worth
that and so much more
know what I want,
do you.? Taking a chance
will defeat the fear of uncertainties
and set you free to discover
true contentment with me.
