Uncharted Territory

Stars, moons, planets that shine in your eyes
Reflect a universe of a different kind.
What do I know of miracles and lies?

I wanted to measure my love's real size,
I looked into my heart and what did I find?
Planets, moons, stars that shine in your eyes.

Knowing you exist is knowing my demise;
I'd like to think fate could be a bit more kind,
But what do I know of miracles and lies?

Cataclysms and nebulas, watch them tear up the skies,
Catharsis of colors as I plummet behind
Moons, stars, planets exploding in your eyes.

This song is finished, there will be no reprise,
Still I'll pretend that my heart is blind,
What do I know of miracles and lies?

I'll meet you in the sun and compromise
This puny shriveled organ you've intertwined
With the stars, moons, planets that live in your eyes.
I only believe in miracles and lies.
