Uncle Tank

Went outside, waiting for my uncle to come,
decided to sit down, since I was feeling a little glum.
I was sick as a dog all day at school,
going home to my aunt would be so cool.
Loud kids around me, I didn't make a peep,
very soon after, I had fallen asleep.

45 minutes later, I woke up confused,
not knowing how I had started to snooze.
The wind was blowing and I was all alone,
all I wanted was a telephone.
I ran to the office all frighten and scared,
hoped to find someone who would give a care.

Called my uncle as I wept,
to find out that he had over slept.
So once again, I'm sitting here waiting,
just wanting to tell him to stop procrastinating.
