what if i was seen for who i really am
an acoustic song
stripped of artificial feelings
left with beautiful unaffected sound

all of my walls collapse and fall
i am unguarded and unedited
free to be teased and talked about
my uncut version not suitable for all ears

i feel comfortable in my own music
without opinions or criticisms
stepping in my own rhythm
ignoring any flaws

but only in a in a perfect world
i would speak in lyrics of hope, share every note
my life on display, crowds gathered to listen
a lovely harmony, no skips, no scratches

just me, my story, my truth
