Underneath the Moonlight

I think about you night and day
And still wonder how you got away
When I close my eyes I dream of you
Wishing I could hold your hand
Every passing moment I regret
Those four words I said that day
I know I may caused you harm
But no spell nor charm could ever work again
So I stand here tonight screaming a thousand times I'm sorry!!
Hoping you'll come back
But my world has been turn upside down
And this frown has permanently placed on my face
It's rare to find the right kind of love
The one that makes you dream, smile, and fill an ocean of happiness
But love works in mysterious ways
So I will count my days until we meet again
It could be months, it could be years
And that's exactly what I fear
Because love sometimes disappears
And knowing this fills my eyes with tears
So forever I will hold this rabbits ear, and hold it as a souvenir
Until our hearts reunite
Underneath the moonlight.
