I know where I'm going today
No definition of tomorrow
Ghosts haunt from days gone by
The truth is hard to swallow
Starving for reality
Not a single portion to eat
Stepping foot in the promise of victory
Only to lose your balance in defeat
No such thing as step by step living
Have to make plans on what you have now
Playing note for note the same routine
Knowing deep inside change you should allow
Writing our name in stars
But not having a single fan
Due to over-independence
We never accept a helping hand
Losing sight of where we are going today
No existence of tomorrow
Ghosts haunt from the life we once wanted
The truth is simply hollow
