Undiscovered

Her piercing eyes hid the strongest fear,
Her dreams unclear,
Her heart swollen by trepidation over the unknown,
A fear of the unknown.

Haunted by her own gifts,
Tempted by her own gifts,
Baffled by her own gifts,
Unclear by her own power.

A stranger in her own mind,
relentless in the world,
She stood overlooking the passion and the pain.

They said one should only fear the unknown,
Her own brain was the unknown,
Divided in thought and principle,
So she sat lost in her own mind.
