Unexpected love at first sight

The day started out like any other autumn dawn
As usual, the sun played hide and go seek with the clouds
The sly wind snatched petals of the flowers
To smell the purity of nature
The branches of the trees danced
Joyfully to the rhythm of birds singing

Down the street, a boy walks to school
Shivering as the cold air freezes the interior of his soul
Dreading his destination, his face dims with unease
The same old dull day in a masquerade of a new one
Just another yesterday’s clone, he figures
“You can’t fool me again,” he mutters
Glancing at the sunrise.
Misinformed about the fate of today
he walks into his school, anticipating boredom
But up next is the inception of thievery
