Unfamiliarities

Have you ever felt alone in a place
that you thought it was impossible to be
with all the occupied space?
You look at the unfamiliar faces
wishing you were back in familiar
places.
Your in an unknown land,
by yourself is where you stand.
As you take a look around,
your worry begins to build up
as a mound.
You wonder if the person you see,
will become your friend or enemy.
You wonder if you'll make friends,
before the year ends.
It's amazing how much time we spend
thinking about these things.
Yet, at the same time we want to
what life has to bring.
