Unforbidden

You say you wish you could read their mind
Do you have the courage to see parts carefully hidden
Undressing their thoughts, layer by layer
would you want what you find
Unlock mysteries, stir through the hurricane of emotions
because in their thoughts, they're not forbidden.

Ideas so fascinating they keep them alive
and ones they can't forgive themselves for
If you know them all, will you ever be able to cure
yourself - because raw is uncomfortable
And truth that's been stripped of all pretence - aches.

Explore your own chaotic mind
I hope you survive to find
They're not a mystery when you know yourself,
thoughts are intertwined.
