Unforgotten memories

By

As I step out into the woods
I hear the sounds of peace.
I feel the soft moss between my toes
And sigh as this is my place of release.

The soft wind caresses my face
The gentle touch of the sun upon my cheek.
A walk a few paces farther in
The relief I feel in my soul no words must I speak.

I find my spot upon a log fallen in the wind.
Coverd in the woods soft blanket of memories never forgoten.

Transported back to my childhood home
Memories flood my mind.
A place i return to every night in my dreams never left behind.

A life lived long ago remembrance is lifes remedies.
Of all the wonderful
UNFORGOTTEN MEMORIES.
