Unglued

I'm in pieces.
Oh, if you only knew
how much I miss you.
Can't find a reason
to why you left so soon.

I'm so scattered,
missing the glue that held us together.
I'm so blue, without a clue
of how to get better.
You opened my eyes.
gave my smile life.
You cut the ties
that held my mind in a cage.
In you I had a true friend.
Me, you saved.

Oh, how much I hate this ...

But in the dreams of you,
they reveal that you are content.
I am still learning from you
through letters heaven sent.
