Unhealable Wounds

They say time heals all wounds.
But, one it could never heal
was the wound that was broken into two,
not physically but metaphorically.
Remember the time I handed you something so precious?
You took it and cherished it,
you said you'd value it as long as you live.
Look now, It's broken and you're still sitting
young, bitter, and with a kid!
Still trying to mend that broken heart you said you'd never forget
but It's too late because the love I had for you I had to give in.
Our bond was broken when you gave her that kiss,
as she exemplifies it 'a sensation she'll never forget'.
I forgave you, took you back, and you're at it again.
Here is the second girl with another story to tell,
except this time it has just a little bit more detail.
She explains why she "loves" you oh so much,
how you make her feel like 'a woman again'.
The stories that were told,
I'll never forget, because in the end
I won't have been the only one who couldn't be fixed!
