I sense the air breathing unholy magic all around
I feel its dark moisture seeping into dried pores
Chilled bones fracture repeatedly
Cries of cracking echo the crowded halls of my mind.
Deaf souls lurk outside my labyrinth
Familiar voices mumble amongst themselves
Disgust is clearly heard dripping from lips
Concerned monsters disguised as stardust scratch the walls.
The unforgiving pounding of drums beat melodies of disappointment
The judgmental ringing clogs my ear canal
Dreadful screams of silence haunt me head
Ghostly sounds unreal to everyone else.
A losing heart, cold from fear of failure
And lost in a paradoxical march
Should fearlessly chase his thoughts throughout his maze
Striving to find an escape route.
Why can't you hear me?
I'm all but dying my way out.
