Unknown journey

She flew away. I know not where she has gone. Only she can know where it is that she has journeyed. She had a good life before she took flight. She had a good fight. From her breast the beast took a bite, and the poison spread to the liver. If only she had known, then wings would not have found her that night. The reaper has the right to give flight to any no longer for this life, so I cannot be incensed at the giving of wings that took place that night. She once said that wings come to everyone, and if the recipient had a good life then we should celebrate their fight. One night as I speak to the darkness I hope to have a visit from my run away that took flight. Maybe she will lead me out of the darkness that consumes. From birth she taught me many rights. I buried them, but now I am making pits and mountains in search that which is buried. I find a tree, not of life but of the right. The tree has bared fruit that brings light. Now I have light to lead me right.
