The focus is lost, an unbearable cost,
to pay for hope of a brighter tomorrow;
like coins we're tossed, and lines are crossed,
filling our world with overwhelming sorrow.
This pain, I would spare, with a tender hearts care,
rebuild with love and admiration;
cold as ice as we stare, with a soul piercing glare,
devoured by hates desperation.
Compassion has lost purity,
people lack originality, being lead and driven as stock;
Embrace your individuality, as that is who your meant to be,
than your destiny will unlock.
