Unrequited Love

My heart pines,
Thy love doth sour,
In my breast,
Thy hate devours.

Amidst the chaos,
My heart doth dream,
A requited love,
But thou art blind.

The guilt that festers,
Within my core
On the wings of devils,
Shall consume my soul.

Rapture of oblivion,
Shadow of sin,
Tainted my heart,
And estranged my kin.

My head is cracked,
My heart is shattered,
Nothing left to give,
Nobody to love.

You're in my head,
Tell me what to say,
You know it's not me,
At the end of the day.
