Unspoken

The darkness surrounds me and the cold kisses my skin,
Crucified by the world, looked at as sin.

The shadows are home, protection from their sight,
Through their eyes I'm a monster, words like punches in a fight.

The image they see is a reflection of their heart,
When I look at them I just see art.

Judgement, a feeling I've never known,
But still hate is all they've ever shown.

In the darkness I hide and always will,
Hoping one day they'll know how I feel.
