Unsticking

Two of God’s creations stick together
Flying in the flowing on wind
Circulating in chaos
Away form the branch
In which once held them both tight
The inevitability of fate
Comes in shocking waves
In-between the created two
“I’ll miss you,”
One leaf says
The other feels quite the opposite
Now questioning God’s creations
A dust particle in the heavy winds
Is Life’s inevitable size
Rolling on home to nowhere
The solo Life sees something beautiful
“The Earth! The Earth!
I’m seeing new things!”
The loner screams
As God gives a soft smile
To the winds of His single creation
